Spanish is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world. On the other hand, many scientific, journalistic and general texts and webpages are written in English. For this reason, an English-Spanish/Spanish-English dictionary comes in handy when reading English- or Spanish-written newspapers and magazines, or when surfing the Web. Spanish-English Translation Dictionary by IdiomaX is a very useful tool. It not only features the standard wordlist you can find in most dictionaries, but it also includes many variations to words whose meaning can be different to the one that can be inferred from the original word.
The conjugation of Spanish verbs can be very confusing and difficult to learn, since there are more than 15 different verb modalities. Also, the conjugation in English is one of the most difficult subjects of that language. This dictionary features a very useful verb conjugation feature, allowing you to read and study the different conjugation of the most common English and Spanish verbs. The package also includes a translation bar that shows at the bottom of the screen, allowing you to drag-and-drop any word you want to translate. However, this feature didn't work in the version I evaluated.
If you are learning any of these languages, or want to gain more proficiency in them, this dictionary can be a very useful tool.
